What are the tasks?
This is a hands-on role that involves supporting various stages of the pet cremation process and maintaining high standards of care and professionalism.Ā

Primary Focus: Supporting the operation of theĀ crematorĀ under staff supervision and following all safety proceduresĀ
š¾ Assisting with the respectful handling and movement of deceased pets throughout the cremation processĀ
š¦ Preparing pets and memorial items for return to their familiesĀ
š§¹ Maintaining a clean,Ā organisedĀ and hygienic work environmentĀ
š Following established procedures to ensure accurate identification and tracking throughout the processĀ
𦺠Wearing and adhering to all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and workplace safety requirementsĀ
š¤ Supporting team members with daily operational tasks as requiredĀ
ā¤ļø Treating every pet and their family with compassion, dignity and respectĀ
What skills and characteristics do I need?
ā Compassionate, empathetic and emotionally matureĀ
ā Comfortable working in an environment involving deceased animalsĀ
ā Able to lift a minimum of 20kgĀ
ā Able to bend, squat and perform physical tasks throughout a shiftĀ
ā Comfortable working around heated cremation equipmentĀ
ā Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safetyĀ
