Our Good Money Hubs are welcoming, accessible spaces where people can connect with services and get the support they need.
About the role
We are seeking friendly and reliable volunteers to join our Good Money hub in Collingwood.
As a volunteer, you'll be a welcoming first point of contact for people seeking support. You'll help community members access financial wellbeing services, find the right information and connect with the support they need. You will also assist the hub with general admin as required.
What the role involves
- Welcoming people to the hub in person, by phone or email
- Supporting community members to understand and access available services
- Assisting people to gather information or documentation to access support
- Providing referrals to internal and external services, as directed
- Supporting the team with general administration (emails, bookings, data entry)
About you
- Friendly, welcoming and enjoys helping others
- Organised and comfortable with basic administrative tasks
- Is reliable and able to commit to a regular volunteering schedule
- Values inclusion, respect and community connection
No previous community services or financial wellbeing experience is required. You'll receive induction, training and ongoing support while building valuable skills and making a meaningful contribution to your local community.
