BaptistCare is seeking a compassionate Turkish-speaking volunteer to spend time with an older resident living in one of our aged care homes. This rewarding role is perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships, sharing stories, and helping an older person stay connected to their language and culture.

What you'll do:

  • Spend quality one-on-one time with an older Turkish-speaking resident
  • Engage in friendly conversation and social interaction
  • Share cultural experiences, stories, music, or interests
  • Help reduce social isolation and enhance wellbeing through companionship

About you:

  • Able to speak Turkish and English
  • Friendly, patient, and a good listener
  • Reliable and committed to making a positive impact
  • Respectful of older people and diverse backgrounds

No previous experience is required. Training, orientation, and ongoing support will be provided.
