Friendly Visitor for a Lady in Her Early 70s (Hastings Area)
Location: Hastings Area, VIC
Minimum Commitment: Approximately 1 hour per fortnight

Would you like to make a real difference in someone's life simply by spending time together?
We are seeking a warm, friendly female volunteer to visit a lovely lady in her early 70s who is experiencing social isolation and would greatly benefit from regular companionship and conversation.
Our recipient enjoys:
- Playing bingo
- Board games
- Chatting over a cup of tea
- Friendly conversation and companionship
She prefers visits in her home and is not interested in community outings, so this role is ideal for someone who enjoys meaningful one-on-one conversations and spending quality time with another person.
We are looking for a volunteer who:
- Is female and has life experience
- Speaks English
- Is reliable, caring and a good listener
- Can commit to regular visits
- Enjoys building genuine friendships
No special skills are required. Your time, kindness and companionship are what matter most.
Through the Australian Government-funded Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS), you will receive training, ongoing support, and the opportunity to make a lasting difference to the wellbeing of an older person in your community.
