Community Support Sidekick - Administration Volunteer

How will this position help the organisation: Your support will help empower Hamilton Hill Community Collective to reach more people and make the most of its resources. By strengthening administration, grant applications and organisation, you will give the team more time to focus on tackling food insecurity, providing emergency food hampers and its community pantry, bringing people together and connecting residents with support when they need it.

Position Overview: Hamilton Hill Community Collective is looking for a kind, organised and adaptable volunteer to lend a hand with our general administration. This role would suit someone with a gentle, understanding nature who enjoys helping others and being part of a friendly community group. You do not need to know everything. A willingness to learn, have a go and support the team is what matters most.

Key Tasks- List all of the duties the volunteer will do: Help with everyday administration including filing, updating records, preparing documents and keeping information organised in Google Drive. You may help research and apply for grants, complete forms, respond to general enquiries and assist with small projects as they come up. The role is flexible and can be adapted around your skills, interests and confidence.
