Help support the financial management of the Hamilton Hill Community Collective in this Volunteer Treasurer role. We are looking for someone comfortable with numbers, kind-hearted and happy to work alongside a friendly community team that provides food to anyone doing it tough.

Your support will help empower Hamilton Hill Community Collective to Your contribution will support the continuation of its community pantry and other initiatives to remain sustainable and respond to changing community needs. Good financial management helps the group make every dollar count, access and manage funding, and plan confidently for the future. A patient, understanding and adaptable approach is important to us.

Use your skills to make a practical difference in your local community. Meet new people, make new friends and be part of a welcoming team. Build your confidence and develop experience in community finance, budgeting, grants and committee involvement. It is a great opportunity to contribute your skills while learning more about how a grassroots community group works.

Key Tasks

Help keep our finances organised by recording income and expenses, keeping receipts and financial records up to date and assisting with simple financial reports. Help manage invoices, reimbursements and payments, maintain financial information in Google Drive and support grant applications and acquittals. Work with the committee to keep everyone informed about our financial position.

Providing food for anyone doing it tough, no questions asked. Located in Hamilton Hill, our food pantry is open six days a week and run by volunteers that genuinely care for their community.
