Role Purpose

To create digital templates, event flyers, and brand assets that bring Oot & Aboot's visual identity to life across social media, event listings, and printed materials.

What You’ll Do

  • Create digital templates for social media posts, flyers, and banners — including event and sponsorship flyers for Oot & Aboot events
  • Help create brand assets such as hero images and banners for event listings (e.g. on Humanitix)
  • Support consistent branding across digital and printed materials
  • Collaborate with the Website Build & Digital Experience Volunteer, as needed

What You’ll Bring

  • Skills in graphic design, branding, or visual communication
  • Experience using Canva or other design tools
  • Creativity, inclusivity, and an eye for clean, warm visual design

What Volunteering with Oot Looks Like

  • Most roles are 2–4 hours per week
  • Work is flexible and remote (unless events are involved)
  • You’ll have a clear role and reporting line
  • You’ll use simple tools like ClickUp and Google Drive

You’ll receive:

  • A Volunteer Agreement
  • An onboarding form
  1. Getting Started

You’ll:

  • Join ClickUp & Google Drive
  • Attend a short onboarding call
  • Receive your first small task

How We Work Together

  • We communicate mainly via ClickUp, email, and Google Meet
  • We keep things clear, respectful, and supportive
  • You’ll have monthly check-ins with your reporting line
  • There are also optional check-ins or group catch-ups
