Get ready for an action-packed day at Pitstop Karting, where young people will build confidence, resilience and meaningful connections through exciting challenges and shared experiences.

The day centres around go-kart racing, giving young people the opportunity to step outside their comfort zone, cheer one another on and celebrate their achievements. Throughout the day, we'll also come together for a KookaChat wellbeing session, encouraging conversations around resilience, emotional wellbeing and positive coping strategies.

Whether you're helping a young person feel confident before their first race or celebrating with them as they cross the finish line, your encouragement and support can make a lasting impact. As a volunteer, you'll: • Welcome and support young people throughout the day. • Encourage and cheer on young people as they participate in the go-kart races. • Help young people correctly fit helmets and safety equipment before each race. • Build positive relationships through conversation, encouragement and shared experiences. • Support the delivery of our KookaChat wellbeing activity. • Share lunch and connect with young people in a relaxed environment. • Help create a safe, welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. • Work alongside staff and fellow volunteers as one team.

Sometimes the biggest difference you can make is simply showing up, listening and believing in a young person.
