Female Italian-Speaking Volunteer Visitor Wanted in the Bateau Bay Area

Do you speak Italian and love to spend time with older people? A kind female volunteer visitor is needed in the Bateau Bay area to visit an elderly Italian-speaking person who would deeply value friendly conversation, companionship and the joy of sharing language, culture and connection.
Wesley Aged Care Volunteer Visitors is seeking a compassionate female Italian-speaking volunteer to visit an elderly person in the Bateau Bay area for around one hour each week or fortnight.
For someone who speaks Italian, hearing familiar words can feel like coming home. A simple chat in their own language can bring comfort, spark precious memories and create a beautiful sense of belonging.
You might share a cuppa, talk about family, food, music, traditions, Italy, local memories or everyday life. Your visit could become a moment of happiness they look forward to, a chance to feel heard, understood, valued and less alone.
