Are you passionate about supporting children and families in your community?

Good Shepherd is seeking friendly and reliable volunteers to support our Building Blocks Young Parents Supported Playgroup in Keilor Downs, Victoria. This program supports young and first-time parents aged 15-25 years to connect with others, build parenting confidence and support their child's early learning.

  • Welcome and support the playgroup participants
  • Help prepare and serve morning tea
  • Assist with setting up, packing up and maintaining a clean and organised space
  • Support the playgroup excursion each term
  • Help create a safe, inclusive and positive experience for participating families

We're looking for people who

  • Can build positive relationships with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Have an interest in early childhood development (experience not required)
  • Value inclusion, confidentiality and teamwork
  • Are comfortable assisting with light physical tasks such as setting up activities and moving equipment

You'll receive training, ongoing support and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young families.
