Volunteer Board Member Opportunity
Advertised by Volunteering Tasmania
For more than 40 years, Bucaan Community House has brought people together through local programs, services and partnerships, creating a safe, supportive and connected community in Chigwell and surrounding areas.
We are seeking values-driven individuals with experience or qualifications in finance, law, risk management or corporate governance. This opportunity is particularly suited to professionals looking to gain their first formal Board experience while being mentored by experienced committee members.
As a Board Member, you will work collaboratively with fellow directors and organisational leadership to provide strategic direction, effective governance and oversight. We are looking for people who are community-minded, strategic thinkers, strong communicators and capable of working collaboratively within a team environment. This is a rewarding opportunity to build or commence your not-for-profit governance experience while helping shape the future direction and long-term sustainability of Bucaan Community.
If you would like to make a meaningful contribution to the governance and future direction of Bucaan Community House, we welcome your expression of interest.
