Location: Northside Community Service Head Office, Dickson (travel on our bus to Sutton) Hours: 6.5 hours per day Dates: Thursday 1 October & Thursday 8 October 2026 Time: 9:30am – 3:00pm What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting participants as they get on and off the minibus
Accompanying the group during travel and at Tulip Top Gardens
Creating a warm, safe environment by being a friendly, familiar presence
Offering general assistance during the outing as needed Your presence helps participants feel comfortable, confident, and connected throughout the day.

Requirements

Skills and Requirements: * A warm, friendly manner * Comfort supporting people with light mobility tasks * Need to be reasonably physically fit to move safely around the mini bus during excursions. This is not a strenuous role but volunteers should feel comfortable with light mobility tasks and being on their feet for parts of the excursion. * Willingness to follow staff guidance and safety procedures * WWVP card * Police check (WCS can arrange and cover cost) * Respectful of confidentiality and participant dignity *Complete mandatory compliance online training
