Romanian Speaking Aged Care Volunteer Visitor to visit Isolated Seniors

Become a Volunteer Visitor You can make a real difference with your time. You don't need to be an aged care professional. We are looking for people who are: Kind • Reliable • Respectful • Patient • Good listeners Volunteer commitment Our volunteers are expected to:

• Commit to at least 20 visits per year
• Complete required training and screening
• Obtain the required police clearance and checks
• Attend agreed visits and communicate with the ACVVS team
• Respect privacy, culture, identity and personal boundaries
• Follow Umbrella and ACVVS safeguarding and confidentiality requirements
• Stay within the volunteer role and provide companionship—not personal or clinical care

You'll be supported Umbrella has a community of more than 100 ACVVS volunteers providing regular companionship and social support to older people, with ongoing guidance, training, wellbeing activities and support throughout their volunteering journey.
