As a Store Assistant Volunteer, you'll be part of a welcoming team helping to create a positive and enjoyable shopping experience for our customers. From assisting with merchandising and preparing stock to supporting customers and processing sales, you'll help give great fashion a second life while contributing to a meaningful cause.
What you'll be doing
- Providing friendly, helpful and welcoming customer service
- Assisting customers in-store and creating a positive shopping experience
- Processing EFTPOS and cash transactions
- Preparing clothing and accessories for sale, including steaming, sizing and merchandising
- Organising and maintaining stock and displays
- Helping keep the store clean, organised and inviting
What we're looking for
- A friendly, collaborative and genuine approach to customer service
- An interest in fashion, styling, sustainability or retail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work collaboratively with staff and fellow volunteers
- A proactive and adaptable approach
- Basic numeracy skills
