About the Role

CCA NSW is seeking a friendly and reliable Linen Service Volunteer Helper to support clients in their homes by delivering fresh linen, changing and making beds, and collecting used linen for return to the CCA NSW office.

You will work alongside another volunteer as part of a small team, providing practical assistance while helping clients maintain their comfort, dignity and independence.

The role operates every Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and is ideal for someone who enjoys being active, working with others and making a practical difference in the community.

Key Duties

  • Deliver clean and fresh linen to clients' homes.
  • Change and make beds alongside another volunteer.
  • Collect used linen and return it to the CCA NSW office.
  • Interact with clients in a friendly, respectful and caring manner.
  • Respect clients' privacy, dignity and individual needs.
  • Follow CCA NSW procedures and ensure client safety and comfort at all times.

Skills and Experience

We are looking for volunteers who:

  • Enjoy helping older people maintain their independence at home.
  • Are comfortable with light to moderate physical activity.
  • Are reliable, friendly and respectful.
  • Can work well as part of a team.
  • Have a Class C Driver's Licence – preferred but not essential.

No previous experience is required – full training and ongoing support will be provided.
