Team: N+1 Industry Engagement Program
Reporting to: N+1 Industry Engagement President
Location: Adelaide-based only (Hybrid)
Commitment: 5–8 hours per fortnight
Note: This role offers flexibility. Work can be spread across the week and completed at your own time, with attendance expected at relevant meetings and events.
Role Summary
N+1 Industry Engagement is seeking volunteers to support the N+1 Industry Engagement Program in one of two roles:
- MC (Master of Ceremonies)
- Job Seeker Membership Officer
The MC helps deliver a professional, welcoming, and engaging networking experience. The role involves managing the event rundown, coordinating with speakers, and facilitating the opening, speaker introductions, icebreakers, group activities, transitions, and closing. Strong communication, confidence, organisation, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders are essential.
The Job Seeker Membership Officer supports the engagement and experience of participants in the N+1 Industry Engagement Initiative. The role involves managing the free job seeker membership, administering membership forms, onboarding new members, coordinating member activities and communications, and acting as a primary point of contact for participants.
The N+1 Industry Engagement Initiative helps participants build, sustain, and grow professional relationships through authentic, low-pressure, relationship-first engagement rather than focusing solely on immediate recruitment outcomes.
This opportunity provides practical experience in event facilitation, professional communication, stakeholder engagement, membership administration, participant engagement, and professional networking, while contributing to employability and community engagement across South Australia.
