Corporate Membership Officer & Logistics Support Officer

Team: N+1 Industry Engagement Program
Reporting to: N+1 Industry Engagement President
Location: Adelaide-based only (Hybrid)
Commitment: 5–8 hours per fortnight
Note: This role offers flexibility. Work can be spread across the week and completed at your own time, with attendance expected at relevant meetings and events.
Role Summary
N+1 Industry Engagement is seeking volunteers to support the N+1 Industry Engagement Program in one of two roles:
- Corporate Membership Officer
- Logistics Support Officer
The Corporate Membership Officer supports the development and maintenance of positive relationships with N+1 corporate members. The role involves managing member relationships, coordinating corporate membership benefits at N+1 events, and engaging professionally with employers, businesses, and industry contacts. Strong communication, presentation, and business skills are important, while experience in corporate engagement or event management is advantageous.
The Logistics Support Officer helps ensure N+1 events are well-organised and run smoothly. The role supports venue coordination, equipment, event materials, food and refreshments, registration, setup and pack-down, and other operational requirements. This is a hands-on role requiring reliability, attention to detail, teamwork, and active involvement before, during, and after events.
The N+1 Industry Engagement Initiative supports participants in building, sustaining, and growing professional relationships through authentic, low-pressure, relationship-first engagement. It creates meaningful connections between job seekers, professionals, businesses, and the wider community.
This opportunity provides practical experience in corporate relationship management, stakeholder engagement, event logistics, professional communication, event operations, and networking, while contributing to employability and community engagement across South Australia.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate Membership Officer
- Support the day-to-day relationship management of N+1 corporate members.
- Maintain regular communication and build positive, professional relationships.
- Coordinate and implement corporate member benefits at N+1 events.
- Help ensure corporate members receive a professional and positive experience.
- Support communication with employers, businesses, industry contacts, and stakeholders.
- Represent N+1 professionally when engaging with corporate members and industry representatives.
- Maintain accurate corporate membership information and records.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen corporate member engagement.
Logistics Support Officer
- Support the operations lead with N+1 event logistics.
- Assist with venue coordination, setup, pack-down, and event space preparation.
- Coordinate equipment, signage, event materials, and marketing materials.
- Assist with food, refreshments, and other event supplies.
- Support registration and participant check-in.
- Help resolve logistical issues during events.
- Work closely with volunteers and the event team to ensure smooth delivery.
- Provide support before, during, and after events.
