NSW SES Flood Rescue Operator

As a NSW SES Flood Rescue Operator, you'll be trained in highly specialised skills to help save lives during flood emergencies while educating your local community about flood safety.

What's involved:

As a flood rescue operator, you may be asked to:

• Rescue motorists trapped in flooded vehicles.
• Rescue residents isolated by floodwaters.
• Assist residents evacuate their properties.
• Undertake reconnaissance of areas impacted by flooding.
• Resupply residents with fresh food and consumables.
• Assist NSW Ambulance with medical transportation of patients across floodwaters.
