Brookvale Public School's annual Halloween Festival is happening on Saturday, 24th October 2026, and we’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us deliver a fun, safe, and memorable event for our local community!
This is a big event for a small primary school like ours, with around 2,000 attendees expected. The festival features:
- Spooky games and activity stalls for kids 🎃
- Food trucks, music, raffle prizes, and more 👻
- A family-friendly disco
- Halloween-themed decorations and community fun
We need volunteers to assist with:
- Set-up and pack-down crews
- Running game and activity stalls
- Raffle ticket sales and crowd support
- First Aid support (qualified volunteers only)
- General event support and floaters
All volunteers are required to undertake a Volunteer Working With Children Check (WWCC) if they are not a parent or carer of a Brookvale PS student. Additionally, all volunteers must complete our school Volunteer Agreement confirming that they have no current or historical matters related to child protection or child safety. This helps us provide a safe and supportive environment for all children and families.
This is a fantastic way to get involved, support public education, and be part of a vibrant local event that brings together families, kids, and the wider community.
