Volunteer Solicitor - PBI Charity (Remote)

Lifestyle Markets Australia Inc.

Logo for Lifestyle Markets Australia Inc.

Kinds of Happiness (KOH) is a Public Benevolent Institution (PBI) and DGR-registered charity, and we are looking for a volunteer with legal expertise to support our governance and compliance work.

Our vision is to support disadvantaged regional children through mentoring and leadership development. We help them build self-sufficiency through farming, participation in farmers' markets, and other community events, giving regional youth the chance to learn farming techniques, business management, and event management skills.

As a registered PBI DGR charity, we operate through small community multicultural events and markets, relying on donations and community support to fund our work. As a charity registered with the ACNC, our key commitment is to prevent or relieve disadvantage among youth facing challenges such as homelessness, abuse, and limited educational opportunities. This children's program is central to what we do, making up around 80% of our activities. The remainder supports Indigenous culture programs, aspiring students, and local community initiatives.
