The Regular Giving Volunteer will provide assistance with the following activities on a weekly basis:

  • Prepare and mail out symbolic adoption packs, ensuring that all components are accurate, complete and presented to a high standard
  • Generate monthly donor welcome letters to acknowledge and welcome new monthly donors
  • Generate monthly donor reactivation letters for supporters who previously had a monthly donation that was cancelled and have since chosen to recommence their monthly donations
  • Generate monthly donor cancellation letters in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Write and mail birthday cards to monthly donors
  • Prepare and mail postcards to monthly donors
  • Conduct regular stocktakes of regular giving inventory to ensure adequate supplies are available, and identify when additional stock needs to be ordered

To successfully undertake this role, the volunteer will possess the following skills, attributes and/or experience:

Essential:

  • Good attention to detail and the ability to complete tasks accurately and consistently
  • Comfortable undertaking administrative tasks, including preparing correspondence, assembling packs and maintaining stock
  • Intermediate computer skills and confidence using email and standard office systems, such as Word and Excel (including mail merging, downloading reports and doing data checks)
  • Some experience with CRM databases
  • Aged 18 years and over

Desirable:

Previous administrative or fundraising experience
