Sydney Heritage Fleet is a volunteer organisation dedicated to preserving, restoring and operating vessels which represent Australia's maritime history. They include 1874 Tall Ship James Craig, 1912 K-class ferry Kanangra, coastal steamship John Oxley, 1902 steam tug Waratah, 1902 VIP steam launch Lady Hopetoun, 1903 schooner Boomerang, Tugs and several diesel motor launches.
About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic people to join our busy team as IT Help Desk Volunteer
By joining as a volunteer, you have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by helping to promote and preserve maritime heritage while working in a friendly and welcoming team environment.
Role Requirements and Duties
You will be required to volunteer for up to 4 hours a week, working remotely or from our office at Pyrmont or shipyard at Rozelle, to:
- Provide IT support using TeamViewer for remote assistance for SHF Volunteers
- Troubleshoot SharePoint, Outlook and Microsoft Office issues.
- Assist with computers, printers, email, Wi-Fi and software.
- Set up and update equipment and user access.
- Provide friendly support and escalate complex issues.
