Volunteer Reviewer — Arabic Text & Audio Review
The Victorian Endowment for the Advancment of the Electronic Arts

About VEAEA: VEAEA is an Australian charity that publishes educational resources in a range of community languages.
The role: we're looking for a native or fluent Arabic speaker to review one of our translated resources - both the written text and a set of matching short audio recordings - to make sure everything reads and sounds natural and accurate.
What's involved:
- Read through a set of short translated pages in Arabic and check for accuracy and natural phrasing.
- Listen to the matching short audio recordings and flag anything mispronounced, unclear, or mismatched with the text.
- Send back your notes on a simple review sheet we provide - no need to rewrite anything yourself unless you want to suggest a fix.
Skills/experience needed: native or fluent Arabic (reading and listening). No prior translation experience required.
Benefits: fully remote and self-paced, no fixed hours or deadline pressure. Credit as a contributing reviewer, if you'd like it.
How to apply: click Apply and send a short note - we'll reply with the review materials and you can start whenever suits you.
