RADIO SKID ROW

The volunteer is a senior (over 60 years of age). In addition the volunteer will:

Be relatively tech-savvy and able to manage files, and shared file drives and work with editing software like Audacity or other audio editing tools.
Able to work to weekly deadlines. The show must go on!
A background in radio or television is well regarded but not essential.

Training

We will train you on how to operate in the radio studio, including the microphones and recording console. We will also train you in how to manage audio files and do light edits in preparation for submission to the editor.

Requirements

The volunteer will be part of The Good Vibrations Show - a show for seniors by seniors. The volunteer will work as a segment lead or overall show host. The volunteer will have a strong, clear voice and excellent command of English. The volunteer will be able to write short scripts and interview questions for guest.
