Youth Program Volunteer – Digital Skills, AI & Community Activities

Fossung Multicultural and Education Services Inc. (FMAES) is a registered charity supporting culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) children, young people and families across Ipswich and Logan.
We are looking for friendly and reliable volunteers to support our 6-week youth program. You will work alongside our Program Facilitator to help create a welcoming, inclusive and engaging environment for young people.
What you'll do
- Support young people during digital, AI and creative activities
- Encourage participation, conversation and teamwork
- Assist with games and intercultural activities
- Help participants use laptops and everyday digital tools
- Assist with setting up and packing down activities
Who we're looking for
You don't need to be an IT expert. We're looking for people who are patient, approachable, culturally respectful and enjoy working with young people. Students and community members interested in education, social work, youth work, community services, IT/digital technology or multicultural communities are encouraged to apply.
When and where
Fridays, 4:00–6:00 pm
6 weeks, commencing 9 October 2026
FMAES induction and support will be provided. Applicable Blue Card and child-safety requirements will apply.
By volunteering with FMAES, you'll help young people develop practical skills, confidence, friendships and stronger connections within their community.
