Make a Difference in an Older Person’s Life

We’re looking for a kind and friendly volunteer to visit an older person in Padstow Heights who would really value some companionship and conversation.

With an English background, they enjoy Bible readings, social chats, sharing stories and memories, and simply having someone to spend time with. Visits might include enjoying a cup of tea, having a meaningful conversation, listening to music, or going for a gentle walk.

A regular visit once a week or fortnight can provide friendship, connection and something to look forward to. No experience is needed — just a caring nature, a willingness to listen and a little time to share.

Come along, make a connection, and brighten someone’s day.

No previous volunteering experience is required. We are simply looking for someone who is caring, respectful, reliable and willing to listen and share a little of their time.

All volunteers must be 18 years of age or older and complete a National Police Check. Ongoing training, guidance and support will be provided by your Program Coordinator throughout your volunteering journey.
