Be a Friendly Face for Maria

Maria is looking for a warm, friendly Italian-speaking female volunteer to spend time with her in Illawong.

Maria doesn’t speak English and would love someone she can chat with in Italian, enjoy a cuppa with, and share some laughs and conversation.

She loves singing, food and a good chat, and having someone visit regularly would give her something special to look forward to.

A visit once a week or fortnight could make a meaningful difference by bringing friendship, connection and companionship into Maria’s week.

No previous volunteering experience is needed — just kindness, reliability and a willingness to spend time with someone.

Volunteers must be 18+ and complete a National Police Check. Training, guidance and ongoing support are provided.
