Polish-Speaking Volunteer — Bexley
A little time. A familiar language. A meaningful connection.
We’re looking for a warm and friendly Polish-speaking volunteer to spend time with an older person living in a residential care facility in Bexley.
For someone who speaks Polish, hearing their first language and sharing stories about family, culture and life can bring comfort, connection and a sense of home.
What Could You Do Together?
- Enjoy a cup of tea and porozmawiać po polsku — chat in Polish
- Share stories, memories and family experiences
- Listen to music or enjoy favourite activities
- Simply sit together, laugh and enjoy some company

Sometimes, a conversation and a little time are all it takes.
A weekly or fortnightly visit could give an older person something to look forward to while helping you build a genuine friendship.
No previous volunteering experience is needed — just kindness, reliability and a willingness to connect.
Volunteers must be 18+ and complete a National Police Check. Training, guidance and ongoing support are provided.
