Farsi-Speaking Volunteer Wanted

Support an older Farsi-speaking person through regular friendship visits that help reduce loneliness and strengthen connection to language, culture, and community. Visits typically take place weekly or fortnightly for 1–2 hours and focus on building a genuine one-to-one relationship through conversation, shared interests, and companionship.
Activities may include enjoying a coffee, sharing stories and life experiences, discussing family, food, music, traditions, and Persian culture, or simply spending time together. Full training and ongoing support are provided, making this a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone's life while gaining experience in the aged care and community sector.
Benefits of this role include:
- An opportunity to gain experience in the aged care sector
- Supervision and opportunities for learning and development
- The chance to be part of a supportive volunteer community
- Making a real difference in someone's life
