Help young people build confidence, connections and independence this school holidays and in your spare time!
Identitywa is delivering an inclusive capacity-building program for school-aged teens with lived experience of disability this coming school holidays.
Designed by participants, families and therapists, and co-facilitated by a peer mentor, participants will focus on:
- Building friendships, belonging and peer connections
- Developing practical life skills through shared activities including cooking and socialising
- Creating positive relationships, experiences and lasting memories.

- Explore career pathways in disability, education, community services and allied health

What we need from you!
- Aged approx 18 - 35 years and willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening and Working With Children Check
- Availability to attend an induction day Friday 25 September
- Plus mentorship alongside young people with lived experience of disability
9.15am - 12.45pm September 30, and October 2, 5 , 7, 9
and
9.45am - 2.15pm October 10 for a day celebrating milestones
Support for Volunteers
Identitywa is committed to ensuring volunteers feel confident and supported throughout their journey. All volunteers will receive training, mentoring and guidance from an experienced practice lead mentor.
