Club Operations & Equipment Volunteer: ACU Football Cub

ACU Football Club is a community football club based at Australian Catholic University's Strathfield Campus. We are looking for a reliable and organised volunteer to join our club and assist with the management of our equipment and day-to-day club operations.
This is an ongoing role and would suit someone who enjoys being part of a sporting community, likes keeping things organised and is looking for a meaningful volunteer position where their contribution will make a genuine difference.
Key duties may include:
• Managing and maintaining the club's football equipment and inventory
• Organising our equipment and storage areas
• Preparing and distributing equipment to teams and collecting it when required
• Maintaining a simple register of club equipment and assets
• Identifying equipment that needs to be repaired or replaced
• Assisting with general club administration and record keeping
• Providing practical support for club events and activities
• Assisting the committee with other appropriate operational tasks throughout the season
You do not need to have a football background. We are primarily looking for someone who is reliable and organised.
ACU FC is run by volunteers and provides football opportunities for university students and members of the wider community. This role directly supports our players, coaches and volunteers by helping ensure that teams have the equipment and operational support they need throughout the season.
The successful volunteer will become a valued member of the ACU FC community and will have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of the club.
This opportunity may be suitable for eligible Centrelink volunteers seeking approved voluntary work, subject to the individual's circumstances and approval by Services Australia or their employment services provider.
