Museum Education Program Guide
The Melbourne Holocaust Museum (MHM) is Australia’s largest institution solely dedicated to Holocaust education, research, and remembrance. Established by survivors in 1984, the MHM is now a world-class museum and research centre.
We are currently seeking volunteers to facilitate exhibitions and assist in student education programs. You will support the education program for students grades 5-12 through student-based learning on Mondays to Fridays, helping the education team deliver the program to almost 30,000 students annually.
This information session is for members of the public who are interested in guiding school children (years 5-12). It's a chance to meet our team to learn more about our museum, our mission, and why we do what we do.
Our information session is a requirement for potential volunteers wanting to volunteer in the Melbourne Holocaust Museum's Education department. Please register your interest by applying and our Volunteer Coordinator will be in contact regarding the date for our upcoming information session.
Applicants are required to provide MHM with a Working With Children Check and security check before beginning training.
