Volunteer HR Recruiter - Remote
Who we are
Lifestyle Markets Australia (LMA) runs multicultural markets, festivals, and events across Victoria, and every dollar of profit goes to Kinds of Happiness, a charity supporting disadvantaged youth in regional and rural Australia. None of it happens without volunteers, and finding the right ones is where you come in.
We are looking for an experienced recruiter to join our People & Culture team and take ownership of end-to-end volunteer recruitment. This is a chance to use real recruitment skills for a cause that reaches thousands of young people across the state, without the pressure of KPIs or sales targets.
What you will be doing
You will manage the full recruitment cycle for our volunteer roles, from writing and posting ads through to screening applicants, shortlisting, interviewing, and handing successful candidates over to our onboarding team. You will keep our SEEK listings current and performing, track candidates through our Recruitment Tracker, and work closely with Team Leaders across the organisation to understand what each team needs.
What we are looking for
We need someone who already knows their way around SEEK as a recruitment platform and is comfortable working in Google Workspace, since that is how LMA runs day to day. Beyond that, we are after genuine recruitment experience: someone who can read a role, write an ad that gets the right applicants, run a fair and efficient interview process, and communicate clearly and warmly with candidates along the way. As this role is remote and self-directed, we need someone who can work independently, make decisions without close supervision, and get up to speed quickly with minimal handholding.
