Meals Program Volunteer (Thursday Lunch) – MasterChef Meets Community Spirit!

Uniting Victoria And Tasmania

Do you enjoy cooking for a crowd and believe good food brings people together? We’re on the hunt for a Thursday kitchen wizard to help run our warm and welcoming Community Lunch!

Here’s the (delicious) deal: You’ll cook up a storm for 10–15 people using donated goodies, inspire clients to get involved, and serve up lunch that tastes like love (plus a little paprika).

What you’ll be doing: • Leading the lunch prep, from menu magic to kitchen clean-up • Turning random pantry finds into tasty meals (hello, surprise chef!) • Making our guests feel welcome and full – in every sense of the word • Encouraging clients to roll up their sleeves and stir the pot (literally)

You’re our ideal cook if: • You’ve handled a kitchen or cooked for more than just yourself • You’re calm, creative, and know your way around a chopping board • You love food, people, and bringing the two together

Bonus points if you: • Besides changing lives? You'll gain new skills, new mates, and that fuzzy "I did something awesome today" feeling. • Know a few tricks to stretch a budget • Have a Food Handling Certificate (or are keen to get one)

Ready to serve kindness on a plate?

A few non-negotiables: • Working With Children Check (we’ll help you get it if you don’t have one) • National Police Check

Click Apply and let’s make Thursdays taste amazing.
