Make a Difference with Bindaring Are you friendly, organised and enjoy bringing people together? We’re looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team as our Volunteer Coordinator.

This is a flexible role, with hours that can be tailored to suit your availability. You’ll help build and support our amazing volunteer team and play an important part in making our annual Bindaring Clothing Sale a success.

What you’ll do

  • Connect with and support our volunteers throughout the year.
  • Coordinate volunteers and rosters for donation days, set-up, Sale Day.
  • Help recruit new volunteers through social media, community groups, clubs and other networks.
  • Liaise with local universities to coordinate student volunteers and community service opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with community organisations and businesses to create new volunteer opportunities.
  • Work with Volunteering WA to explore corporate volunteering opportunities.
  • Welcome and induct new volunteers and connect them with a volunteer buddy.
  • Follow up with volunteers, encourage ongoing involvement and make sure they feel valued and supported.

Who we’re looking for You don’t need previous experience! If you are enthusiastic, reliable, approachable and enjoy working with people, we’d love to hear from you. Basic computer skills can be taught, and you’ll be buddied and supported as you settle into the role. What matters most is your willingness to get involved, communicate with people and help build a great volunteer team.
