Gulagbi is entering an exciting new chapter, and we’re inviting passionate, skilled volunteers to join our growing team.
As a not-for-profit organisation founded in Far North Queensland with International reach, Gulagbi – Collaborative Sustainable Developments Ltd is dedicated to supporting mothers, babies, and families through holistic, culturally-appropriate pregnancy and postpartum care — and empowering communities both locally and globally through sustainable development projects.
To continue this work and expand our reach, we’re seeking volunteers with experience, initiative, and heart to take on key support roles within our organisation.
As our Fundraising Coordinator, you will play an active role in helping us grow Gulagbi’s impact by developing and coordinating fundraising activities that inspire our community to give.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and manage fundraising campaigns and community events
- Develop partnerships with local businesses, sponsors, and supporters
- Oversee online fundraising drives and donation campaigns
- Work closely with the Board to set and meet fundraising goals
- Promote ethical and transparent fundraising practices
Ideal candidate:
You will ideally have some prior experience in fundraising or event coordination, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping mothers, babies, and families thrive.
We are a grassroots not for profit organisations, with most achievements to date largely self-funded by the founder. As Gulagbi prepares to expand its reach and offerings, we are now seeking the support of a fundraising coordinator to secure grants and funding to make this work possible.
This is an unpaid, remote, volunteer role, which can be completed flexibly on a schedule that suits you. We are looking for someone with availability of 5-10 hours per month, as well as attending a monthly board meeting via video call.
