This role is ideally suited to someone from the Northern Beaches area. Computer Pals for Seniors – Northern Beaches is a small volunteer run, not for profit Charity dedicated to helping the Seniors in our Community navigate and enjoy the world of technology. We are based at the Tramshed Arts & Community Centre, 1395a Pittwater Road, Narrabeen.
We are currently seeking a volunteer Treasurer. Initially this role will be in a joint capacity with the existing treasurer, eventually easing into the full role.
Ideally suited to someone with accounting/bookkeeping skills, experience with Xero accounting software would be an advantage but not a necessity, training will be given. Attention to detail and accuracy, good organisational skills and an understanding of how accounting works are required. The majority of this role can be done from home allowing for flexibility timewise, with attendance required at monthly committee meetings to present reports. There is not a huge number of transactions in a month.
Duties include (in Xero):
- Recording Income and Expenses
- Bank Reconciliations
- Producing monthly reports for the Committee Meetings
