Volunteer Photographer

As our Greyhounds As Pets Photographer Volunteer, you’ll help capture the moments that show our greyhounds at their absolute best! From cheeky personalities and bright smiles to relaxed snoozes and chill hangouts. Your photos will help potential adopters see the individual behind the kennel card and may even help a greyhound find their forever home.

You may find yourself:

• 🐕 Taking adoption photographs that help our greyhounds catch the eye of their future families
• 📸 Capturing greyhounds interacting with people in natural, relaxed and positive settings
• 🌿 Photographing dogs enjoying everyday life, whether they’re playing, exploring the yard, meeting volunteers or simply showing off their best couch-potato skills
• 📱 Creating quality images for use across GAP’s social media channels, website and promotional materials
• 🎉 Photographing GAP adoption days, foster events, community activations, fundraising activities and other events
• 💚 Capturing special moments and milestones, including adoption celebrations and happy-ever-after moments
• 🗂️ Helping build and maintain a library of high-quality photographs for future marketing and communications
• 🤝 Working closely with the GAP team to create content that supports greyhound welfare, raises awareness and helps our dogs find their homes

What we're looking for:

• Experienced in photography or simply passionate about developing your photography skills
• Comfortable photographing animals and people in a variety of environments
• Reliable and able to work independently when required
• Friendly, approachable and professional when interacting with adopters, volunteers and staff
• Confident capturing clear, high-quality images suitable for promotional and social media use
• Passionate about greyhounds and animal welfare
