Livingwater Care Foundation (LCF) is looking for a creative and skilled volunteer with website design and digital content experience to help improve our existing Google Sites website.

LCF is an emerging Australian humanitarian organisation supporting refugees living with disabilities through overseas projects. We are looking for someone who can bring creative ideas, professional design skills and fresh perspectives to help make our website more engaging, visually appealing and reflective of LCF's mission and work.

What you could help with

  • Improve the layout and visual design of our existing Google Sites website
  • Bring creative ideas to make the website more professional and engaging
  • Improve navigation, page structure and presentation
  • Present LCF's overseas projects, programs, stories and impact more effectively
  • Improve the use and placement of photographs and other visual content
  • Help make the website engaging and easy to navigate on mobile devices
  • Help develop stronger visual storytelling around refugees living with disabilities
  • Keep website content and project information up to date
  • Provide ideas and advice for future website development and potential platform changes as LCF grows

What we're looking for

  • Experience in website design, web development or digital content
  • A creative eye for layout, presentation and visual storytelling
  • Experience with Google Sites is highly desirable, particularly the ability to improve an existing Google Sites website
  • Experience with Wix, Squarespace, WordPress or similar platforms is also welcome
  • Experience working with an NFP, charity, humanitarian or community organisation would be an advantage
  • Experience in the refugee, disability, humanitarian, international development or community sector would be an advantage
  • Experience with overseas projects or international humanitarian/development work would be an advantage
  • An interest in LCF's mission and supporting refugees living with disabilities
  • Someone who can work independently, bring creative ideas and provide constructive suggestions

Time commitment

Flexible — approximately 2–4 hours per month, depending on the volunteer's availability and website needs.

This is a volunteer opportunity with an emerging Australian humanitarian organisation. It is an opportunity to contribute your professional skills while helping LCF build a strong and credible online presence as its overseas programs develop.
