Committee Members

Disabled Surfers Association Great Southern Branch is looking for a few new committee members to join their friendly and relaxed team.

Already have a core committee, so this is a casual volunteer role with a small time commitment — perfect for someone who would like to get involved in the community without taking on a huge workload.

What’s involved?

The commitment is roughly:

🏄‍♀️ 4 “Let’s Go Surfing” mornings during the first third of the year 📝 2 committee meetings 🧹 1 equipment clean-up day ☕ 1–2 social get-togethers, if available

And don’t worry — even current committee members don’t make every activity, and that’s completely OK!

What will you be doing?

You’ll help support the branch and its activities, pitch in where you can, and be part of a team helping people with disability enjoy the experience of getting out on the water.

There’s no expectation of endless meetings, paperwork or a massive workload. It’s about having fun, meeting great people, helping where you can and being part of those wonderful “Smiles on Dials” moments when participants hit the water. ❤️
