Cooktown Museum - Visitor Experience & Retail Volunteer

We are looking for someone to join our friendly team as a visitor experience and retail volunteer at Cooktown Museum for a couple of hours per week.
Your duties will involve:
- Greeting and engaging visitors from all walks of life.
- Taking admissions and processing gift-shop sales.
- Helping to keep the gift shop tidy and well-stocked.
- Supporting with stocktake at the end of each month.
- Learning about local history and assisting guests with queries.
- Working alongside heritage staff and liaising with the Manager.
You'll be part of a small, friendly team that values teamwork, initiative, and great customer service. Whether you enjoy working independently or alongside others, this role offers a rewarding and enjoyable way to make a difference in our community.
