Volunteer Driver Assistant – Community Meal Delivery

Volunteer Driver Assistant Nonna’s Cucina is supported by more than 100 dedicated volunteers who generously give their time, skills and care to help prepare and deliver meals to over 600 clients each weekday.

We are seeking friendly and reliable volunteers to join our team as Driver Assistants. This is an important role in helping ensure our clients receive their meals safely and on time.

Driver Assistants accompany our volunteer drivers during meal deliveries, helping with navigation, carrying and delivering meals, and providing a friendly point of contact for our clients.

Deliveries take place Monday to Friday, between 11:00am and 1:30pm.

You don’t need to make a large commitment. We can be flexible with your availability, and even a few hours once a week or fortnightly would be greatly appreciated.

At Nonna’s Cucina, we provide more than just a meal. Our volunteers help create meaningful connections with clients and provide friendly support and assistance when needed.
