Fundraising & Community Engagement Coordinator
Help us turn great ideas into funds that save cats. 🐾
Maneki Neko Cat Rescue is looking for a creative and enthusiastic person to help us develop new fundraising opportunities and build relationships with businesses, community groups and supporters.
Since 2012, we have rescued and rehomed more than 10,000 cats, and fundraising is essential to the veterinary care, rescue and community programs we provide.
What you'll do
You’ll help us:
- Develop new fundraising ideas and campaigns
- Research potential sponsors, grants and funding opportunities
- Build relationships with businesses and community groups
- Develop sponsorship and partnership opportunities
- Assist with fundraising events and activities
- Help create fundraising proposals and applications
- Identify new ways to engage supporters and raise funds
We're looking for someone who is creative, organised, confident communicating with people and great at spotting opportunities.
You don't need professional fundraising experience. Experience in fundraising, sales, marketing, events, sponsorship or community engagement would be useful, but enthusiasm, initiative and the ability to follow things through are just as important.
Why volunteer with us?
You'll have the opportunity to develop real fundraising and partnership experience while helping generate the funds that allow us to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome cats and improve animal welfare in our community.
If you're someone who sees opportunities where others don't, we'd love to hear from you. 🐱
