Community Lunch Volunteer
Help create a welcoming and inclusive community space while making a real difference to local people.
Mount Gravatt Community Centre runs a weekly Community Lunch every Monday, providing a nutritious meal and social connection for around 30 community members. We are looking for friendly volunteers to join our team and help make the day a success.
Volunteers can assist with a variety of tasks, including:
- Setting up the dining area
- Preparing and cooking a simple community meal
- Serving food and welcoming guests
- Cleaning up after lunch
- Setting up our small free second-hand clothing stand
- Assisting with pack-up at the end of the day
No experience is necessary. Whether you're a keen cook, enjoy meeting people, or simply want to lend a helping hand, we'd love to hear from you.
We welcome volunteers who can help every week, every second week, or once a month.
