Deputy Local Commander NSW SES Shoalhaven Cluster

NSW State Emergency Service (NSW SES) is the lead agency in response to flood, storm and tsunami emergencies. It also provides critical rescue and missing persons search capabilities to other agencies. The organisation is made up almost entirely of volunteers who commit to supporting their community in its time of need.

They also provide leadership and support to volunteers in their area of responsibility and oversee the workplans of Unit Commanders.
This role is assisted by the Unit Commanders and their Unit Management Team, as well as a small staff contingent tasked with supporting volunteer Units across South Eastern NSW.
