Visit an elderly person living in aged care to build a friendship, share a cuppa, talk about things that matter, play a game of cards or do a puzzle or art work together, or go for a walk in the gardens. Volunteer Visitors commit to a weekly or fortnightly visit with an older person living in a local aged care facility This role suits people from all walks of life who are friendly and patient and like to get to know people. We match you to someone who has hobbies and interests in common with you. If you can spare an hour a week and would look forward to a chat or a game with an older person, this role could be for you. Your kindness and presence will make a big difference to the person you visit.
