Visit an older person in their home to bring some cheer - make a friend

If you're a friendly person who finds it easy to listen and chat we would love to introduce you to an older person who would like a visitor once or twice a fortnight Our organisation provides training and support to Volunteer Visitors and we match you to someone living locally who has similar interests We are looking for people who are good listeners, who are patient and who like to get to know people. The person you will be visiting may be living alone and their family may not be able to visit often. They are already receiving services to help with housework, personal care and shopping, this is not something you will need to do. What you will be bring is a friendly face and an opportunity to chat.
