Description

The Associate Director (AD) - Technology & AI role has been created to ensure responsibility for PMIQ technical environment and support related to the association's portfolio activities.

Duties

• Planning ICT needs strategically
• Ensure web and emails are functioning well and upgraded appropriately
• To ensure support when there are technical issues
• To lead a team of IT volunteers
• To maintain a strong relationship with all portfolio leaders to ensure their ICT needs are being met
• Maintain a relationship with vendors and providers of services to the chapter
• To assist in making recommendations to portfolios where ICT solutions are appropriate
• To develop an IT strategy to help deliver the chapter strategy
• To work with PMI Global and to understand the ICT direction of PMI so as to ensure alignment
• Maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over ICT activities

Experience

  1. Led digital transformation and automation initiatives to streamline volunteer operations and improve process efficiency.
  2. Implemented and optimised digital platforms and workflows, collaborating with stakeholders to improve user experience and adoption.
  3. Leveraged data, reporting and technology to strengthen organisational insights, engagement and decision-making.

Education & Training

  1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  2. Relevant technology, digital transformation, or project management certifications are desirable.
  3. Equivalent professional experience in technology, digital transformation, systems, or technology-enabled business improvement may be considered in lieu of a formal technology degree.
