Could Music & a Shared Dutch Connection Bring Two People Together? ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ’™

Location: Narre Warren, VIC

Ann is a lovely older lady who would really enjoy having a regular visitor to share conversation, music and companionship with.

Ann has a Dutch background and enjoys speaking Dutch, so having a volunteer who can speak Dutch would be a wonderful way for her to enjoy familiar language and conversation.

Music is another special part of Ann's life. She loves to sing, and there is a small electric keyboard available that can be played during visits. We're looking for someone who shares Ann's love of music and would enjoy sitting together, chatting, singing and perhaps making a little music along the way. ๐ŸŽน๐ŸŽถ

We're looking for a male or female volunteer who speaks Dutch, is warm and friendly, and would enjoy building a genuine friendship with Ann.

โค๏ธ Share Your Time. Create Connection.

As an Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) volunteer with Ageing with Grace, you'll have the opportunity to bring friendship, conversation and connection to an older person who would value having someone regularly visit.

You might enjoy:

  • Speaking Dutch and sharing stories
  • Listening to or talking about music
  • Singing together
  • Playing the electric keyboard
  • Enjoying relaxed conversation and companionship
  • Building a genuine 1:1 friendship over time

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Dutch speaking
  • Male or female
  • Warm, friendly and reliable
  • Aged 18+
  • Comfortable spending time with an older person
  • Someone who genuinely enjoys music and conversation

You don't need to be a professional musician โ€” a love of music and a willingness to share your time are what matter most.

If you speak Dutch, love music and would enjoy bringing some conversation and song into Ann's week, we'd love to hear from you. ๐Ÿ’™
