About the Role We are looking for a passionate and organised Volunteer & HR Coordinator to support our volunteer engagement and people coordination activities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, building community connections, and contributing to a purpose-driven organisation in the arts and community sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Support volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and coordination.
- Maintain volunteer records and communications.
- Manage volunteer databases and rostering, including event coordination.
- Coordinate volunteer communications, newsletters, and social engagement activities.
- Assist with volunteer engagement, training, and recognition activities.
- Help maintain positive culture and community participation.
- Provide general HR and administrative support as needed including reviewing and updating position descriptions and volunteer application forms.
About You
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Enjoys working with people and community initiatives
- Experience in administration, HR, volunteering, or community engagement is desirable
- Passion for arts, inclusion, and community wellbeing
